Smaller patches need simplified artwork — detail that reads clearly at 6 inches can disappear at 2 inches. We’ll tell you if your design needs adjusting for the size you’ve chosen, and recommend a border style (merrow, hot-cut, or laser-cut) based on the shape.
Backing for your use case
Iron-on backing works best on suitable heat-safe fabrics. It may not adhere reliably to nylon, leather, coated, or waterproof materials, so sew-on or Velcro may be a better choice depending on the application. velcro or sew-on is the better call there. We match backing recommendations to what you tell us the patch will be applied to.
You approve every adjustment before we touch a needle. Nothing goes into production on assumption.

Iron-On
A heat-seal adhesive backing that bonds to most cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. Fast to apply, with no sewing needed.
Sew-On
No adhesive the patch is stitched directly onto the garment. The most durable long-term option, standard for uniforms and workwear.
Velcro (Hook & Loop)
A removable, repositionable backing the standard choice for tactical gear, uniforms that swap patches often, and morale patches.
Magnetic
